friends only!



Hi. This is both my personal journal and a sketchbook, where I'll be sharing, well, whatever I feel like to, actually :) You can expect it to be many art related stuff or just some general babbling about my everyday life. I'm making this journal friends only, at least for some time, as I want to know who wants to read it - it seems only fair this way - you know who I am, I know who you are. It will also help me keep the track of people who can see photos and wips I share, so hopefully I'll no longer find these being used without my permission again.

If you're intrested in reading this journal just leave a comment including a link to some page of yours (deviantart, lj, myspace, cgtalk, any place where you're quite active), add me and I will add you back.

i already pasted some previews from my recent work in new post, more will come soon, as I have a more comfortable way of sharing pictures now, so I can take photos of sketches :)

hej Skie :) od razu bym Ci dała dostęp, ale to niestety działa tak, że użytkownik musi mieć konto na lj'u, wtedy jak mam kogoś na lj'u jako "friend" to dana osoba widzi wszystkie moje wpisy oznaczone jako "friends only".. dlatego właśnie zdecydowałam się na to, by wiedzieć kto ogląda to, co robię, bo śledzić ip to ja sobie mogę.., a tak przynajmniej wiem, że przypadkowe osoby nie ściągają sobie tego, co umieszczam bez mojej wiedzy..

ale jeśli być chciała założyć sobie konto na lj'u to od razu Cię dodam naturalnie :))

hey there, the language of your journal is not a problem, I won't be able to understand your posts, sure, but you'll be able to see mine and comment when you want, but you have to have an account on lj, otherwise how can I add you to friends list here?

WHY did you change to a PAID for artist? Now the only way to use your art is to get a CILM number! You just gave permission to use your art WITHOUT the CILM... only to revoke that permission... I hate these copyright games!!!!!!!! Copyright this.. copyright that.... Whatever... I'll stop using your art now!!!

how very nice of you to be leaving an anonymous comment, so probably you won't even read my reply to it. anyway, i've been swarmed with emails, some as "nice" and as "reasonable" as yours.

Now to answer your question why. As you know I allowed free usage of my artwork since many years under certain rules. Which people kept broking more than often. I can't say how many times I've been finding my art being badly tubed or even repainted! Not to mention how many times I found sets of tubes shared were some of the artwork wasn't even mine! Wouldn't you grow tired of that too?

Well, after all those years I did. I didn't do it for the money, as frankly, as you can see, the tubes are cheap to buy. If you're looking for that motive of my behaviour check other artists there, who never allowed to use their art anyway and now they only sell tubes. I am not one of them. But because of this contract I can now guarantee all the tubes will be mine artwork and that they will be of proper quality, as I tube them myself.

And your statement seems selfish to be frank. You seem to suggest I should, for some reason unknown to me, be willing to share my art for free and be an artist working for free for taggers, so that they can have fun altering my art in any way they want. I do not consider that fun. I think I have to remind you I could've never agree to tubing my art anyway, right? There was no business in this for me, not even a promotion, as I told you, most tags I saw were altering my art so much I was quite ashamed my credits were on it.

But I have to tell you that I gave myPSPtubes rights only to sell tubes with my art. Meaning my art unaltered and not tubed can still be used for FREE with proper credits given.

Does it sound that bad for you now?
