Бывает, в разговоре кто-то вдруг решит сверкнуть начитанностью и выдаст фразу кого-нибудь из великих. И ведь фраза-то замечательная и в тему. И ты такой радостно подхватываешь, развиваешь тему и вдруг обнаруживаешь озадаченный взгляд.

We finally have such a nice, cozy life.... awesome couch, awesome tv, awesome sound system, a dishwasher, a microwave, decent income (as far as living in Poland goes I'd say:P) - everything that a couple of couch potatos might need in life... and what do we do? We leave our cozy life for some uncertain, poor life of couch surfers in France.... silly silly silly...

But then I read all those ever-lovely articles/comments about any gay issue in Poland and I feel so much better for leaving and hope from the bottom of my heart that we will make it to have a decent life in France and won't have to come back here crawling............ don't get me wrong, Poland's not bad - but we're just a hundred years behind with everything and I'm fed up with it......
